"Lil' Kim wasn't Biggie's girl!" says Charli Baltimore
12-Jan-2009

Rapper and Notorious B.I.G. associate Charli Baltimore claims that rap star Lil' Kim was never in a serious relationship with the slain hip-hop legend.
Lil' Kim may be mad about the way the new biographical movie on Notorious B.I.G., "Notorious," portrays her romantic relationship with the plus-sized rap icon, but according to another former Biggie paramour, there wasn't really much romance to speak of.
In an interview with Yo! Raps, red-headed rapper Charli Baltimore claims that "Lil' Kim wasn't Biggie's Girl. They just f*cked."
Her comments add fuel to a debate that has been swirling around the release of "Notorious," with Lil' Kim claiming that the film's portrayal of her relationship with Biggie is inaccurate and that Biggie's mother, Valetta Wallace, and his widow, Faith Evans, are guilty of distorting the truth.
Evans, also famous for her work as an R&B singer, has tried to distance herself from the debate, claiming that she had little input on the movie's plot. Wallace, on the other hand, has expressed sympathy with Lil' Kim, and argued that making "Notorious" was part of an effort to better understand her son.
Many of the details surrounding aspects of Biggie's life and still unsolved death remain contested. Well-known as a ladies' man despite his size, he was still married to Evans at the time of his death, but according to Baltimore, was carrying on a relationship with her while also spending time with Lil' Kim. But Baltimore claims that Kim has exaggerated what was a purely sexual relationship and takes issue with Kim's public assertion that she was "Biggie's girl" soon after his death.
"I don't know what the hell she thought," says Baltimore, "maybe she's delusional as to what B.I.G. and her had going on."
