Britney and Justin Narrowly Avoid a Reunion

Britney and Justin almost meet in L.A.
Justin Timberlake and Britney Spears managed to avoid a meeting Monday night when they accidentally ate at the same restaurant, reports Contactmusic.com. Timberlake was eating at the Yatai Asian Tapas Bar in Los Angeles with girlfriend Jessica Biel when Spears entered with her mom.
“(It was) uncomfortable . . . Jessica and Justin looked to be slumping down in their seats to avoid her,” a witness told UsWeekly.com. “She left 30 minutes later. Shortly afterward, Justin and Jessica got in their car and left.”
Britney and Justin dated in 1999 and broke up in 2002, which inspired Justin’s hit song, “Cry Me a River.” The former couple has not spent time together since, but Justin has always spoken fondly of Spears, saying in 2007: “There’s no ill will . . . I have nothing but love for her . . . she has a huge heart, and she is a great person.” In November 2008, the pair performed separately onstage at Dodger Stadium with Madonna, but did not speak.
