Patrick Swayze Leaves Hospital
The actor was given a relatively clean bill of health.
Patrick Swayze had some good news this week upon his release from the hospital after suffering pneumonia. The early critical reception for Swayze's new A&E show, The Beast, has been resoundingly positive, earning Swayze kudos for his potent acting chops.
Swayze was diagnosed last year with pancreatic cancer and recently divulged that he is in stage four of the disease. He is undergoing treatment, including chemotherapy. In a recent Barbara Walters interview, he confided his fears, but also his optimism that he could beat the disease.
Swayze made a name for himself as the attractive lead in mega-hit movies like Dirty Dancing and Ghost.
