Lily Allen Says that Drugs Scare Her

British singer Lily Allen has recently taken back her comments about drugs due to immense criticism that has been sparked by it. Insisting that she does not condone substance abuse, after she was quoted as saying the issue is "sensationalized," anti-drug campaigners are not on Allen's side.After stating how she knows people who "take cocaine three nights a week and get up and go to work everyday, no problem," the singer had to issue a new statement to clear her name. "Lily Allen would like to state unequivocally that she does not condone illegal drug use and has every sympathy with individuals and families whose lives have been blighted by drugs," a spokesperson for Allen said, after the slip up.
