Go "Benjamin Button"!

Finally, people have caught on that The Curious Case of Benjamin Button is a really good movie! Sure, many still snicker at the idea of Brad Pitt being able to do little more than look pretty, but Pitt is mesmerizing and absolutely wonderful in this film. Incredibly, he is even more enjoyable in this film than the always-enjoyable Cate Blanchett, his lovely costar.

Leading all other Oscar nominees with 13 nominations (that's right, 13!), Benjamin Button has taken its rightful place in history, as the most celebrated movie of 2008-2009.

With Pitt's incredible acting and the delightful and absorbing cast of supporting characters, not to mention the absolutely stunning scenery, there is little mystery behind the astonishing number of Oscar nominations. See the movie for yourself, and you will quickly understand why the Oscar voters couldn't let it simply slide away quietly into the night.
