Winehouse Is Love-Drunk?

Amy Winehouse, 25, has remained a focal point in tabloids around the country for months now due to her bad drinking and drug habits. However, she appears to be having more trouble than she is letting on.

According to Showbiz Spy, the singer has taken to drinking up to a bottle of alcohol a day to drown her sorrows. The recent drinking spells were reportedly brought on after Winehouse was rejected by her rugby player, Josh Bowman, whom she met at the beginning of the month. Winehouse met the rugby player on a Caribbean island at the beginning of the month. "Amy was after Josh in a big way and he didn't want to know. Josh is just a 21-year-old kid, but Amy is older and it seems he didn't want anything too serious," Winehouse's friend, Sam Shaker, said.

"Now Amy is in a bad way. She's stopped the drugs, but is drinking up to a bottle of vodka a day," Shaker elaborated, telling of how Winehouse was trying to block out her unhappiness.
