Donny Osmond on "Dancing With The Stars"

As always the rumor mill is working overtime to reveal who the contestants for season eight of "Dancing With The Stars" will be. Today, Donny Osmond has let the cat out of the bag and “nearly confirmed” that he will be a contestant in the next season, according to popeater.com.
Osmond, apparently following in his sister's footsteps, announced in a taping of “The Bonnie Hunt Show” that he is seriously considering doing it. “I guess I just let the cat out of the bag,” he said.
This rumor has more truth in it than not, as the Osmond siblings quickly entered into a friendly banter about it. Donny joked that he can’t let his sister upstage him. “Who do you think taught her to dance,” he said.
Marie responded by saying she just wants to “see him in stretchy pants.”
According to E! News, ABC reps have not and will not confirm the rumor because they never comment on casting rumors.
Season eight of "Dancing With The Stars" will begin in March.
