Grammy Nominees Announced
This year's Grammy Awards will showcase all-star talent with performers such as Rihanna, Coldplay, Jennifer Hudson, Kenny Chesney, and Paul McCartney with Foo Fighters' Dave Grohl on drums, according to MTV.
Also set to perform is former Led Zeppelin singer Robert Plant and bluegrass newcomer Alison Kraus. The two have been nominated for Album of the Year for their collaboration on the album "Raising Sand."
Coldplay, Lil Wayne, Ne-Yo, and Radiohead are also nominated. Out of the five nominees for the biggest award of the night, Ne-Yo is the only artist not set to perform during the show.
The nominations for this year's 110 categories were announced at a televised concert, according to Rolling Stone.
Lil Wayne is a big contender, taking in eight nominations. MTV reports that Lil Wayne's "Tha Carter III" has a strong chance of taking home the Grammy for Album of the Year.
The Grammy's will air live from the Staples Center in Los Angeles on Sunday, February 8.
