Former Miss America Pageant Host Arrested for DUI
Former host of the Miss America Pageant is checking in at the slammer, courtesy of the California Highway Patrol.
According to the Associated Press, Gary Collins, 70, was arrested by an officer Saturday evening after noticing a motor home driving erratically. A field sobriety test was administered on Collins. His blood alcohol content was found to be over the legal limit.
Collins was taken to a police station in Santa Barbara where he was booked on DUI and processed. He was later released on $25,000 bail.
Collins, a former host of the Miss America pageant, has made numerous TV and film appearances, most notably on The Young and the Restless and JAG.
