Bale Can't Control His Anger

Just as Christian Bale's movie, The Dark Knight, was about to hit theaters last year, he was accused of assaulting his mother and sister. Now the actor, famed for his role as Batman, is being accused of mouthing off to Shane Hurlbut, director of photography of Bale's upcoming film, Terminator Salvation.

A recording of Bale's harsh words was released on the Internet on Tuesday, according to ABC News. Bale lashed out on Hurlbut with a series of F-word filled insults for over three minutes, according to E! Online.

Bale was annoyed with the D.P. for interrupting an intense scene. Bruce Franklin, the assistant producer of Salvation, defended Bale with the rationale that he was having a bad day. "He is very intensely involved in his character. He didn't walk around like that all day long. It was just a moment and it passed," said Franklin, as reported by E! Online.

Bale's out of control temper may have cost him any chance of future Oscar consideration. The Los Angeles Times reports that two of the Academy Award's biggest losers, Peter O'Toole and Richard Burton, have been men with not-so-passive backgrounds.
