John and Jen Have Sleepovers

John Mayer dishes about his relationship with Jennifer Aniston.

One of the leading love stories in the public eye has been focused on the relationship between Jennifer Aniston and John Mayer. The media loves to analyze Aniston's dating life and has been particularly interested in her association with supposed womanizer John Mayer.

Aniston isn't one to talk much about her personal life, especially her current relationship with Mayer, but the musician doesn't share her shyness. People Magazine reports that Mayer was happy to talk about the relationship during an interview with Ellen DeGeneres on her talk show. DeGeneres asked about the couple's private life, specifically whether Mayer sleeps over at Aniston's house. "Yeah, there are sleepovers," Mayer told the talk-show host.

The personal inquiry came after a discussion between the two about Aniston going green with her new hi-tech home, which cost her $15 million, according to MSNBC. Mayer says that there is nothing normal in Aniston's house and that it's all a little too much for him. "I just want a switch that glows orange. Just give me a switch that glows orange, and I can swing my arm up [and turn on the light]. I don't want a smart-home button," Mayer said.

Earlier this week, rumors circulated that Mayer may be planning to propose to Aniston at her upcoming 40th birthday party. Radar Online reports that Mayer's Twitter blog said, "Visiting the Diamond Exchange in Tustin," on Friday, and followed up with, "Welding an engagement ring for my girlfriend," on Saturday.
