It sounds like the plot out of an Agatha Christie novel. A group of five are killed off, one by one, until one is left standing. But instead of being called "Ten Little Villagers," it could be titled "Five Big TV Networks."

According to the AP, MyNetworkTV, formerly known to most of America as UPN, has officially bit the dust. The network announced it has canceled all new programming for 2009.
Instead, MyNetworkTV will focus on mostly reruns of old shows, such as Law and Order: Criminal Intent as well as live, professional wrestling.
In recent months, the network has struggled to retain advertisers, who have flocked towards more promising networks because of the economic recession.
That leaves CBS, NBC, ABC, and FOX as the only major broadcast networks producing original content.
