Steven Wozniak Goes for "Dancing with the Stars"

Steven Wozniak was named a contestant for the 8th season of "Dancing with the Stars."

Monday, February 9, Steven Wozniak, the co-founder of Apple Inc., was proposed as a contestant on the coming season of Dancing with the Stars. Steven Wozniak, also known as the Woz, was the creator of the original circuit board for the Apple computer and started to sell it with Steve Jobs in 1976.

According to the Los Angeles Times, Wozniak would compete against 12 other contestants in the eighth season of Dancing with the Stars, which begins on March 9.

Reuters reported that those contestants would include Grammy-award winning rapper Lil' Kim, Olympic gymnast Shawn Johnson and former NFL star Lawrence Taylor.

"We've gone for some unpredictable people," the ABC executive producer, Conrad Green, said, "Once you have someone with one leg (Heather Mills), a deaf person (Marlee Matlin) and an 82-year-old (Cloris Leachman), it's hard to push the boundaries. An air of wildness doesn't hurt."
