Feds: Joe Francis Belongs in Jail
Joe Francis may be a free man, but not for long if the Feds have their way.
According to the AP, federal prosecutors have submitted arguments before a judge in favor of revoking the "Girls Gone Wild" entrepreneur's bail while he awaits trial for tax evasion.
The charges stem from an April 11, 2007 indictment that alleged that Francis withheld money from the IRS with the help of a former corporate accountant, who according to the porn king's attorney, confessed to the government in exchange for money and protection.
Bail was granted after Francis failed to show up for trial on February 9, 2009, citing an undisclosed illness. He is currently under house arrest in his home in Los Angeles.
Francis is due in court Wednesday.
