Justin Timberlake Is a Fashion Icon
Justin Timberlake's resume includes a successful reign as a part of the boy band N'Sync, an even more successful solo career, and now he can be heard collaborating with some of today's best selling artists such as T.I., Rihanna, and Madonna.
He's been topping the music charts for years, and now Timberlake can now also be known for taking the number one spot in GQ's 10 Most Stylish Men in America, featured in the magazine's March issue.
GQ complimented Timberlake on his impact on fashion, willingness to take risks, and his knack for targeting trends, according to the Associated Press.
The 28-year-old performer credits model Kate Moss for inspiring his risk-taking, according to Radar Online.
Timberlake started his own clothing line in October 2006 with his partner and friend, Trace Ayala. The line, called William Rast, debuted its Fall 2009 collection at Merecedes-Benz Fashion Week. The New York Post reports that the theme of the runway show was "New America."
Timberlake admitted to being more nervous for the runway show than for a live show.
"For a concert, I'm in full control, I have the mic and can control how people feel, but for the runway, it's out of my hands, I just check the models and send them out there and let people receive it the way they receive it," Timberlake told Women's Wear Daily.
