Mickey Rourke Wrestles with $70,000 in Therapy Bills
Mickey Rourke may be able to bodyslam the competition at Sunday's Academy Awards, but he isn't quite able to pin rumors of runaway debt.
According to Extra TV.com, Rourke, 56, has admitted struggling with money problems dating back to his years in therapy.
In an interview with Barbara Walters, Rourke, star of the Oscar-nominated film "The Wrestler," made the confession, owing up to the $70K hole in his pocket and adding that he did not have enough cash to pay his therapist for 14 years.
According to Rourke, both therapist and client worked out a a nonpayment scheme where the psychoanalyst held off on any further bills until Rourke paid him back.
