Caruso Stalker Arrested
An Austrian woman accused of stalking CSI: Miami star David Caruso was arrested in Mexico, Thursday.
The unnamed woman, 41, was due to stand trial in April after stalking and threatening to kill the TV star.
According to WENN, the woman failed to show up to her hearing in Innsbruck, Austria last year. The judge then issued a warrant for her arrest.
The woman was found in Tijuana, Mexico by police and sent to immigration officials. She will likely be deported back to Austria.
The woman sent more than 100 letters to Caruso and pursued him for an autograph. When he refused, the woman sent Caruso three death threats, according to Austrian prosecutors.
Her arrest was largely in thanks to blog "The Stalker Chronicles," which was dedicated to her arrest, according to WENN.
The woman remains unnamed due to Austrian privacy laws.
