Man Claims to be Father of Octuplets
ABC's Good Morning America will air an exclusive interview on Monday morning with a man who claims to be the father of Nadya Suleman's famous octuplets.
People Magazine reported that the man, whose identity will be revealed in the interview, claims he dated Suleman from 1997 to 1999, a period in which he believes she was married. The man said he was "shocked and surprised" when he learned that Suleman delivered octuplets.
MSNBC also reported on the story. The man claims to have donated sperm at a fertility clinic once, and twice gave Suleman sperm in a cup to take to the clinic herself, keeping it between her breasts to "keep it warm, keep it room temperature until she took it in."
Suleman's camp is denying the claim. Her representative, Victor Munoz, said, "The real sperm donor knows who he is. This guy's definitely not the one. It's kind of comical. Nadya's not sure why he's doing this."
Suleman, in an interview with Radar Online, said, "That guy is definitely not the father of my kids. I know who the father is and I can tell you it is definitely not him."
The man has asked for a paternity test and claims he will help Suleman, even if the results show he is not the father, saying, "Either which way, you know that if she needs it I'll lend a helping hand."
