AP: Judge Grants Meeting Between Falk, Daughter

A California judge has granted a meeting between Catherine Falk and her ailing father, "Colombo" actor Peter Falk, the Associated Press has learned.

Los Angeles Judge Aviva K. Bobb--the same woman responsible for granting the restraining order against Samuel Lutfi in the Britney Spears case--granted the request Monday. Under the terms of the agreement, Ms. Falk and Mr. Falk will sit down for nearly 30 minutes later this month.

Judge Bobb also imposed a gag order on the various parties in the courtroom, obliging them not to talk to the press about the decision.

According to Ms. Falk, she has not seen her father--who has grown more reclusive since his announcement several months ago that he has contracted Alzheimer's disease. Since then, Ms. Falk has sought a conservatorship for the Academy-Award nominee, however, neither she nor her attorney know how far Falk's disease has progressed.

Asked about the case, Ms. Falk declined comment. However, she did give the "thumbs-up" sign and said, "Thank God," after the case was over.
