Actress Julia Roberts has been hospitalized due to early contractions.
Pretty Woman actress Julia Roberts was hospitalized in an unnamed Los Angeles hospital after signs of early contractions. According to People Magazine, the contractions eventually stopped, but she remains in the hospital for observation.
The condition of the Oscar-winning actress has not been cited as serious, but she has been advised to stay in bed for the duration of her pregnancy. Roberts and husband Danny Moder are expecting twins, a boy and a girl, in January.
Roberts' releases of her upcoming film projects still remain in her schedule. The drama "Closer", co-starring Jude Law and Natalie Portman will premiere in L.A. on November 22, and the sequel "Ocean's Twelve" will also have its world premiere in L.A. on December 6.
