50 Is Patiently Waiting

50 Cent's new album is pushed off untill the release of Eminem's new record.

Fans of 50 Cent will have to wait even longer for his new album to drop. According to rumorofficial.com, the rapper is waiting until Eminem's album, Relapse, is released. "Right now I'm on a train, and the Em-cho-cho goes first. I think people forget that I'm actually Eminem's artist because I've had so much success on my own and moved away from it," 50 said.

The rapper said that part of the reason for the wait is that Dr. Dre is producing Eminem's album first. "Because Dre is mixing Em's album, Em will be completed entirely before we get a chance to finish up the pieces that me and Dre did together," he said.

But he has delayed his album before. The CD, Before I Self Destruct, had a December release date. It was pushed back to March because it was not fully complete. Now, the album's release date is even fuzzier, as Eminem's is set to release this year, but with no definitive date.

Right now, it's Em's songs that have taken the limelight. His single, "Crack a Bottle," with 50 Cent and Dr. Dre has hit No.1 on the Billboard's Hot 100 singles this month. The success of the song can be attributed to the rappers' friendship.

"We have a great relationship, so there's no reason for us not to go back in and make more [good music]," 50 said.

Hopefully both albums will be released sooner rather than later.
