Drew Barrymore Under Consideration to Direct "Eclipse"
Drew Barrymore has been known for many years as the actress who portrays quirky women on film. Now she's angling for another title: director of the third "Twilight" flick.
According to the celebrity gossip site Extra Online, Barrymore, 34, is in talks with studio Summit Entertainment to direct the third movie in the series, "Eclipse."
The "He's Not That Into You" star is no stranger to working behind the screen. She recently completed her directorial debut in the comedy "Whip It," starring Barrymore, Ellen Page, and Jimmy Fallon.
