Transitions for Hefner and Three Ex-Girlfriends
Out with the old, and in with the new. We're talking about life in the Playboy Mansion, that is.
In last night's Girls Next Door season 5 ending, viewers saw the exact moment when Kendra Wilkinson broke up with 82-year-old Hugh Hefner, admitting her infidelity and thanking him for a great five year ride. The breakups between Hefner and Holly Madison and Bridget Marquardt were not taped and revealed on the March 1 episode.
Wilkinson had previously told Us Magazine how she snuck out of the mansion to have sex, and later regretted sharing that piece of information. According to breaking news, Wilkinson has also opted to have her brother walk her down the aisle, rather than Hefner. The wedding is planned to take place at Hefner's Hollywood mansion.
Bridget reportedly ended her relationship with the octogenarian around the same time she left to film her new show, Bridget's Beaches. And Holly Madison's breakup with Hefner was the most surprising, as those two appeared to be the most in love. Tearfully, during the last few minutes of the Girls Next Door episode, titled "Transitions," Hefner is seen talking with house-mom Mary, regretting that his relationship with Holly went downhill, ostensibly because of work and because Holly wanted to get married and have kids.
Soon after the trifecta breakup, Wilkinson's engagement to Hank Baskett became public. Kendra has hew own reality show, Kendra, which has not yet been aired, but is already being advertised. Viewers of Girls Next Door were given a preview of what Kendra's new life will be like, as the selection of her new home was featured on the last episode.
Kendra has publicly eschewed the lifestyle she enjoyed at the mansion, in favor of marriage and family. Kendra did insist that at least one stripper pole be installed in her new home, however.
By the end of February, Holly Madison's budding romance with Criss Angel had come to a close. Holly is now reportedly living with her family. A source was quoted in Us Magazine as calling Holly "heartbroken" over her breakup with longtime boyfriend Hefner.
Hefner has gotten back into the saddle, with three new girlfriends, and the possibility of more. He is currently dating Crystal Harris, 22, and 19-year-old twins, Karissa and Kristina Shannon. The Shannon twins had been arrested for assault . . . on themselves.
