Holly Madison to Replace Jewel on "Dancing with the Stars?"
Ever since country singer Jewel hurt her knee and was diagnosed with tendonitis, ABC has been speculating whether or not she can recover in time for the eighth season of Dancing with the Stars.
If not, she could be replaced by Holly Madison, also known as Hugh Hefner's former number one girlfriend on The Girls Next Door and, most recently, Criss Angel's ex-girlfriend.
According to BuddyTV, Jewel released a statement asserting her determination to hit the dance floor.
"I am dedicated to getting better and showing the judges and America that I can cha cha with the best of them. Don't count me out, as I am in this for the long run," she told Us Weekly.
The Girls Next Door co-star Bridget Marquardt revealed to FoxNews.com that Holly Madison, 29, has always wanted to join the cast of Dancing with the Stars.
"I'm so excited for her," Marquardt said. "She's wanted to do it for so long, it just never worked with her schedule and Hef was always like 'I don't want you to do that,' and now it's her time, so I'm really happy for her."
