Pussycat Dolls Open for Britney Spears's "Circus" Tour

Pussycat Dolls to tour with Britney Spears on her "Circus" tour.

Britney Spears kicked off her comeback tour Tuesday in New Orleans to great reviews, People.com reports. Her "Circus" tour is more than a concert, it's a full-fledged Cirque du Soleil circus show.

Touring with Spears on the 36-stop show as opening act is sex kitten all-girl pop group the Pussycat Dolls, MTVNews.com reports. Lead singer Nicole Scherzinger told MTV, "We just came back from Serbia. . . . We finished our leg of our tour — which is completely the opposite of this — and just landed last night. So we're still working . . . just working everything out. It's pretty unbelievable."

The Dolls plan to work in a new version of "Jai Ho (You Are My Destiny)" from the soundtrack of the Oscar winning film of the year, Slumdog Millionaire. Of touring with Britney, Pussycat Doll Ashley Roberts told MTV, "This whole show is amazing . . . it's a perfect match, really."
