It seems the concerns are more serious than originally suspected. Robin Williams, 57, will be forced to cancel his tour due to a heart problem, ABC News reports.
Williams's publicist, Diane Rosen, released a statement Thursday stating that Williams needs an aortic valve replacement. He is expected to make a full recovery. Williams added that he is "so touched by everyone's support and well wishes."
According to USA Today, Williams is not alone. Nearly 225,000 heart valve procedures are performed worldwide every year.
