Emily Blunt's Weird Glove Phobia
Emily Blunt has a phobia about gloves, a fear she had to confront during the filming of The Young Victoria.
According to WENN, Blunt had to wear authentic Victorian fashion for the making of the film. Yet, she found the costumes difficult to bear due to her fear of wearing gloves.
"I don't know why but I find them repulsive. I'd scream if my mother tried to make me wear them as a child--it must be a phobia," she said.
In the film, Blunt portrays the English monarch who ruled for more than 63 years.
"If I tried to film a scene without them [scriptwriter] Julian Fellowes was always standing nearby, wagging his finger and telling me to put them on."
Blunt recently made news for having to give up a role in Iron Man 2 after committing to Gulliver's Travels.
The Young Victoria will be released this March in the United Kingdom.
