First Booted Idols Stay Positive
Jorge Nunez and Jasmine Murray bid farewell to their Idol dreams after Wednesday night's results show, but the two contestants aren't done with music. Nunez and Murray both plan to return to school. Nunez was in law school when he auditioned for this season's Idol. He plans to finish school, but says music will be his top priority, according to MTV.
Murray was still in high school when she auditioned. The 16-year-old wants to finish school and go to college. Music remains in her future as well. "I really want to have a career in music and maybe other things, but this is really where my heart is," said Murray, as reported by MTV.
Nunez and Murray liked the Wildcard and Top 13 ideas featured this season. "They're giving people extra chances to get closer to reaching their dreams," said Murray, according to RealityTVWorld.com.
