The former OC star has been out of the television show loop for quite some time now, but she is getting back into the swing of things with a new CW show, A Beautiful Life.

The drama is about a group of male and female models living together in New York, according to Reuters. Barton, who has modeled in the past, will play the experienced supermodel, Sonja, struggling to stay afloat in a sea of new models. Kutcher modeled the show after his own experiences growing up as a male model from Iowa.

The actress wants to use this comeback to TV as a way to clear up rumors about her weight loss, places she goes and her friends, MSNBC reports. She uses her blog to address these issues. "It's just the best way for me to clarify things and show people who I really am," Barton said, according to MSNBC.
