Levi Johnston Must Mature Before Winning Back Bristol

Bristol Palin and former fiance Levi Johnston broke off their engagement, but the 19-year-old father of Palin's child says that he is considering marriage after he matures.

Johnston said that he and Palin broke up because he was immature, according to a video posted on TMZ. He said that he and Palin needed time apart before they got married. "It's just us not, me not being mature enough, or something, and having a kid and thinking . . . it could be better, better for us to separate for a while," Johnston said during an interview on Good Morning America.

The couple split after a fight that they tried to make work, "but this is what it kind of ended up turning into," Johnston said, according to People magazine.

Johnston and Palin may have ended their relationship but the two are still close. They are okay with just being friends for now, but ABC News reports that Johnston has plans to reconcile with his ex and get married, someday.
