Britney Is Free from Former Paparazzo Boyfriend
Ghalib, 36, was one of the photographers to keep Spears in the spotlight during her very public meltdown in 2007 and 2008. He also dated the pop legend for a brief period. Superior Court Judge Aviva K. Bobb signed a restraining order against Ghalib stating that he must keep his distance from Spears and her family until March 17, 2012, when the restraining order can be extended, according to E! Online.
An attempt to give the restraining order to Ghalib last month was thwarted when the paparazzo allegedly attempted to run over the process server, E! Online reports. Ghalib faces felony charges for his action.
The judge also extended the temporary restraining order against Spears's ex-manager, Sam Lutfi, until April 1, according to Reuters.
The orders against both men instruct that they stay at least 250 yards away from Spears, her parents and sons, Sean Preston and Jayden James.
