Fred Durst Reflects on Relationship with Britney Spears

Fred Durst is confused about his relationship with Britney Spears but doesn't hold any grudges.

Front man Fred Durst of Limp Bizkit does not hold any grudges from his past, MTV News reported. He made amends with Wes Borland, the original guitarist from the band. Is Britney Spears the next person on his agenda to make peace with?

In 2003, Durst hooked up with Spears to record a few songs for her upcoming album, according to MTV News. Allegedly, they ended up hooking up outside of the studio. In a statement to Durst's fans, he revealed that Spears is someone he didn't think would make him feel this way.

Spears wanted to put the rumors to rest. On an episode of TRL, she stated they were not dating and that she barely new Durst. However, the Bizkit front man contradicted everything Spears had said to Howard Stern. He said, "It's unbelievable about this crap she's saying," and swore on his child's "blue eyes" he was not lying.

After the incident, the pair went their separate ways. Spears married Kevin Federline, had two kids, went to rehab and is currently on tour for her new album, Circus, while Durst continued making music as well as directed a film entitled, The Education of Charlie Banks, out in theaters March 27.

It's been six years since they allegedly had a romantic fling. How does he feel now after it's all been said and done?

"It just became a fiasco of madness," he told MTV News this week. "[But] I always stay true to my heart and true to everything I did and my intentions, and I am in no way a liar."

Acccording to MTV News, Durst is still confused about their relationship. However, he still supports Spears.

"Her own decisions and different things in her life, people can judge her all they want, but she has an extreme presence and when she's giving it, it's really good," Durst told MTV News.
