U2's latest album takes the #2 spot while The Dream's "Love vs. Money" slips to #4.

Kelly Clarkson, winner of the first season of American Idol, returned to the top spot on the Billboard charts as 90,000 copies of her new album "All I Ever Wanted" were sold over the past week, according to Nielson SoundScan. There was a noticeable trend in the top five of the charts this week as three of the top five artists witnessed significant drop offs in album sales from the previous week.

Clarkson's latest album, which remains in the number one spot largely due to the widespread popularity of her smash hit single "My Life Would Suck Without You," suffered a drastic 65 percent decline in comparison to the first week's sales. U2's "New Line on the Horizon", which claimed the second position on the Billboard charts, endured a 42 percent drop in sales from the previous week.

R&B singer, songwriter and producer, The Dream, slipped down to the fourth position on the charts and he also saw a significant drop in album sales from last week as his "Love vs. Money" release suffered a 63 percent decline. His album sold 56,000 copies during the week, largely due to his popular single "Rockin' That Thing" as well as his collaboration with Kanye West on the track entitled "Walking on the Moon."

The "Twilight" soundtrack skyrocketed all the up to the third position on the Billboard charts this week while Lady Gaga's "The Fame" rounded out the top five.
