Padma Lakshmi Featured in New Hardee's Ad
The Food Network host is starring in a new advertisement for Hardee's.
Food Network star and former model Padma Lakshmi is being featured in a new advertisement for the Hardee's fast-food restaurant chain, according to Entertainment Weekly.
Lakshmi is pushing Hardee's new Bacon Western Thickburger. In the advertisement, Lakshmi is eating a hamburger while describing how the burger takes her back to high school.
Lakshmi hosts the show, Top Chef, on the Food Network. She has been hosting the show since its second season. She is also a published author, actress and former model. Lakshmi was formerly married to author Salman Rushdie.
Lakshmi was also named #66 on AskMen.com's "Top Most Desirable Women of 2008" list.
