Candy Spelling No Longer Speaks with Daughter Tori Spelling
Candy Spelling, widow of the late television mogul, Aaron Spelling, is moving on with her life by writing a memoir, entitled Stories from Candyland, which will be released on March 31, and selling her $150 million Los Angeles estate.
According to People, Spelling plans to move from her mansion into a $47 million condo. However, she claimed she would not put the estate up for sale if she could settle disputes with her daughter, Tori, and her husband, Dean, and their children, Liam and Stella.
"If I had any hope that I would have a relationship with my grandchildren I would never sell this house. I've fantasized for years about a wonderful playhouse on the grounds for children," the 63-year-old grandmother told People
She said she does not talk to Tori and Dean anymore. Spelling used to see her grandson, Liam, but has never met her granddaughter, Stella.
It still puzzles Spelling on why the two have confrontation.
"I've tried to talk to her, but that doesn't work. She may not even know why she's angry," Spelling said.
Even though they have their differences, she has yet to give up hope completely. Spelling set up trust funds for her grandchildren and wishes she could be a part of their lives one day.
