Wax Figures to Be Sold By Wax Museum

According to the Associated Press, the Hollywood Wax Museum will be holding an auction featuring likenesses of James Dean, Marilyn Monroe and other Golden Age stars.

Actors and actresses aren't the only figurines to be bid on. In addition to Dean and Monroe, fans can bid on historical figures such as George Washington and 42nd President Bill Clinton, as well as musicians Stevie Wonder and casts of The Beatles.

The auction will be administered by Profiles in History, an upscale auction house specializing in historical documents and photographs. Proceeds from the sales will support historic preservation of the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

The auction takes place May 1.
