Jalapao is worried about numbers and struggle with both the reward and immunity challenges.

JT is nervous that a merge may show up and that Jalapao will be behind the eight ball. As morning hits, Sydney is worried that she will be next to go. She doesn't think that Taj will be voted off before her. Joe knows that Sydney's slowly getting close to the chopping block, but he likes her, thus making her safe in his book.

As Timbira tries to cook some beans, Coach tries to add some river water. Soon the rain starts to pour. Coach continues to cook the food and then just gives up half-way. The beans burnt to the bottom and Sierra is upset with Coach. Coach tries to tell Sierra not to be mad and tells her that the truth will set her free. Brendan sees Coach as a predictable player which is helpful.

Jalapao. While the tribe eats correctly cooked beans, JT is worried about the numbers still. He hopes that his friendships will keep him around. Taj and Stephen talk about the hidden immunity idol. She considers telling JT about the idol. Stephen is unsure, but Taj suggests creating a story that she needs help finding the idol. Stephen remains unsure.

The reward challenge is a pig toss. First, barricades are made by the opposing tribe and after five minutes round two starts. The tribes have to toss clay pigs through the barricades. The prize is an afternoon barbeque and the ability to put someone in exile. In stage one, the boys of Jalapao make X-shapes. Timbira makes a vertical wall first and adds a few cross sections. Stage two is ten minutes long. Most of the pigs break, but Timbira makes the first point. Tyson and Coach eventually find some harmony and start making points. JT and Sydney find their groove and eventually tie the score. Tyson starts getting stressed and throws too strong. With only a few seconds remaining, Timbira eventually breaks the tie and wins. They decide to send Joe to exile island. Joe picks Erinn in hopes that he can charm her.

Timbira arrives at their waterfall barbeque. Brendan was happy for the all-American style food. They start to make the largest burger they can and try to eat as much as possible. After eating, the tribes enjoy a dip near the waterfall. They were given inflatable rafts and had a fun time. Coach loves that Erinn isn't there.

At Exile Island, Joe lets Erinn pick an urn first. She gets the clue. She figures that there may be two idols and tries her best to feel out Joe. She has no alliances and considers working with him. She shows Joe the clue and they realize where the idol is.

At Jalapao, Taj and Stephen realize that with so many clues, they have to make a fake immunity idol or else their cover is blown. Stephen suggests some feather and leather and stringing it together. Taj takes the real idol and tries her best to create a decoy. As she adds feathers, it starts to make some sense and she hides the fake in the Tree Mail. Taj quickly tries to hide the idol, but JT finds it in the bag. He tells Stephen about the idol. Stephen is in shock and decides to play along. Stephen tells Taj to tell JT and they agree. The three decide to work together. They hide the idol in Stephen's pants.

The tribes walk into the Immunity Challenge. Erinn and Joe head back and Sierra returns the idol. The challenge is a slingshot/tile shooting portion followed by a puzzle. Timbira sits Debbie. JT and Tyson start the shooting and both miss their first shot. Tyson connects the first tile and gets the bag. Tyson continues to shoot. JT dings the tile but only breaks it the second time. JT decides to shoot more. Tyson and JT get the second back pretty quickly. There's not enough sand released in the second tile that the third tile is only partially revealed. Tyson gets the third tile before JT. JT hurries to get the tile, while Erinn and Brendan try solving the puzzle. Eventually he gets the bag. Joe and Stephen start working while Erinn and Brendan get several pieces. Timbira ends up winning the immunity. JT is distraught. Jeff hands the idol over and Coach is happy about the increase in power.

Jalapao returns depressed. JT thinks that it's his fault. They try their best to comfort him. Joe's leg has gotten infected and it looks bad. Joe explains that he got the empty urn. He pretends to get water and hurries over to the tree mail. He gets the decoy idol.

While Taj walks away, the rest of the tribe considers voting off Taj. Sydney thinks that Taj isn't the type to stab someone in the back. Taj hopes that she has the protection of Stephen and JT. Stephen and JT talk about getting rid of Sydney. JT knows that the idol will help later on.

Stephen decides to talk to Joe about Sydney. He tries his best to convince Joe to get rid of Sydney by explaining that Taj has friendship with Brendan and Sierra and they could flip. Joe is in disagreement. He considers giving his (fake) idol to her. Stephen and JT consider getting rid of Taj and they hold onto the idol. JT is confused and decides to make a decision at the council.

As the tribe arrives to council Jeff wants an update. JT thinks that the numbers are bad. Everyone is talking about merge and intimidation. Joe's vote is based on trust. Taj hopes to create a bond with Brendan and Sierra to get them to flip. JT is worried about Taj flipping. Sydney is the flip of Taj and has no alliances. Joe doesn't want any doubt. JT continues to doubt himself. Joe starts the vote and votes for Taj, Taj votes for Sydney, and the rest is left as a mystery.

Jeff reads the votes after no one reveals the idol: Sydney, Taj, Taj, Sid (Sydney), Sydney. With three votes her torch is snuffed.

Next Week: The merge is next week. Timbira thinks about getting rid of the four Jalapao members.
