Farrah Fawcett Rushed To The Hospital

The "Charlie's Angels" actress who has been battling cancer, was taken to the hospital Thursday.

According to Reuters, actress Farrah Fawcett, 62, has been taken to a Los Angeles hospital Thursday. The former star of the "Charlie's Angels" TV series, has been fighting anal cancer for three years. She was first diagnosed with the cancer in September 2006. She later declared herself cancer free, however the cancer returned in May 2007.

Fawcett is known for an image in which she is posing provocatively in a red bathing suit. In 1976, Fawcett was cast by Aaron Spelling to star alongside Jaclyn Smith and Kate Jackson on "Charlie's Angels."

Fawcett left the show after only one season, and was later sued for breach of contract. She made several guest appearances in later seasons.

Fawcett garnered an Emmy nomination for her acting in 1984's "The Burning Bed."

Fawcett's condition is unknown, as is the hospital she was taken to, however gossip website RadarOnline reported she was unconscious.
