Gunshots Erupt at Brady and Bundchen's Second Wedding

Armed bodyguards opened fire on two photographers.

New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady and supermodel Gisele Bundchen were renewing their wedding vows in Costa Rica on Saturday when their armed bodyguards opened fire on two photo journalists, Fox Sports on MSN reports.

Rolando Aviles told the New York Post that he and his colleague, Yuri Cortez, who are both veteran photographers, were hired by the INF photo agency and had permission from Gisele's neighbor in Santa Teresa to shoot the nuptials from a vista about 300 feet away from the ceremony. However, when Tom and Gisele's bodyguards saw them, a chase broke out and Aviles and Cortez ran back to their SUV. As Aviles and Cortez drove away, Aviles claimed he saw one of the guards pull out a pistol. Seconds later, a bullet shattered the back of the SUV and smashed through the front windshield.

"Thank God I'm all right. At that moment, I thought I was going to die," lensman Rolando Aviles told the Post. "The bullet went between us, missing our heads. If the bullet had been a little more to the left or right, it would have killed one of us."

"I couldn't believe it when I realized what they had done," Cortez told the photo agency's Web site, INF Daily. "I could have lost my life for the sale of some pictures that Gisele didn't want published. Are they insane?"

Brady's agent told the Associated Press through an email that he and the security personnel had no knowledge of the events.
