Woody Harrelson Not Completely in the Real World
On Thursday, actor Woody Harrelson attacked a TMZ.com cameraman at New York's La Guardia Airport.
TMZ reported that he slammed the camera into the photographer's eye and then smashed it on the ground. He then picked it up and started to walk away with it, but the photographer followed him and demanded that he return it. Harrelson then attacked again, hitting him and grabbing his neck.
Now, Harrelson has explained his actions. PopEater.com reports that Harrelson says that he mistook the poor paparazzo for one of the zombies he fights in his upcoming movie, Zombieland.
In a statement released yesterday, Harrelson said, "I wrapped a movie called 'Zombieland,' in which I was constantly under assault by zombies, then flew to New York, still very much in character. With my daughter at the airport I was startled by a paparazzo who I quite understandably mistook for a zombie."
Well he gets credit for a creative excuse at least!
