The Hangover 2? Already?

Sequel confirmed for film that has not been released yet.

New comedy The Hangover has not even been released yet, but director Todd Phillips has already been commissioned to work on its sequel.

The comedy, which stars Bradley Cooper, Ed Helms and Zach Galifianakis, is set to be released this June. Yet, after positive feedback from early screenings, Warner Bros. is approving production on a sequel, according to WENN.

In the film, Justin Bartha plays a groom-to-be who disappears after a wild night in Las Vegas at his bachelor party. The three friends wake up to a hotel room in havoc and must venture out into Sin City to try to recollect their crazy night and see if they can find their friend before his wedding.

Phillips will team up with Scott Armstrong again to work on the next film's screenplay. Stars Cooper, Helms and Galifianakis are also signed to star in the sequel.

Plans are for the film to begin production later this year.
