Chris Pratt Knew Anna Faris Was the One

Parks and Recreation actor Chris Pratt recently got engaged to Scary Movie actress Anna Faris, last year. He knew she was "The One" instantly. "I knew I wanted to marry her pretty soon after I met her," Pratt told People, Thursday, at the premiere for his new series. "It took a while for me to admit it, because it would be crazy to be like, 'I want to marry you' the first day I met her. But I could have!"

Despite the fact that Pratt and Faris have not set a date yet, he is already wearing a wedding ring. "I just kind of wanted one," he told People. "She got one and I was like, 'I want one!'"

The pair has known each other for quite some time before they got romantically involved. "We were friends for a while. We grew up in the same area, so we have a lot in common," Faris told the UK's Times newspaper in October 2008.

Pratt is currently filming his new NBC series, Parks and Recreation, and enjoying every minute of it with cast members Amy Poehler, Aziz Ansari and Rashida Jones. "It's the most fun work I've ever done," he told People. "It's a hilarious cast."

The couple recently filmed a movie together, entitled Young Americans. The comedy will hit theaters April 17, 2009.
