Lindsay and Sam Went Their Separate Ways

It's only been a week since Lindsay Lohan and Samantha Ronson have broken up, and a friend of Lohan's says she's "heartbroken," People reports.

"Sam and Lindsay are speaking," the source told People. "But Sam has begged Lindsay to get help."

The source also revealed that Lohan is a very insecure person and depends on Ronson to be her pick-me-up.

"Lindsay barely sleeps, which explains a lot of her behavior. She's exhausted. She can't even sit down for a minute without pacing around the room. It's really sad," the source told People.

Lohan made sure that she kept busy after Ronson broke up with her last week. According to People, on Thursday she was at Chateau Marmont in Los Angeles at the start of the evening and later on went to Bar Delux. A source who saw Lohan in action said she looked very skinny and worn out.

Lohan stayed out of the public eye on Friday, while Ronson spent the night deejaying at a party in San Francisco.

Surprisingly, the one person who has stuck by Lohan's side throughout the breakup is her younger sister, Ali. Lindsay never realized how significant her sister is up until now, the source said.

"Through all of this, her sister has been there for her and coaching her through it," the friend said. "Lindsay doesn't even know what she would have done without her."
