Details of "The Beatles: Rock Band" Announced

The details of The Beatles: Rock Band music video game Limited Edition Premium Bundle have been announced, reports Rolling Stone. Along with the Beatles' music, the premium version contains replica versions of the Beatles' signature instruments, such as Paul McCartney's Höfner bass and a Beatles' kick drum. The bundle is priced at $249.99.

The signature instruments will still be compatible with The Beatles: Rock Band software. Alternatively, the special Beatles' guitar will be available to be purchased alone for $99.99.

The game will be released on the same day as their re-mastered discography collection, on September 9, 2009. If players pre-order the game, they will automatically become part of the Beatles: Rock Band Pre-Order Club and be able to receive "exclusive game elements including art and behind-the-scenes footage." Those interested in pre-ordering can register their email address at the Rock Band Web site to be notified when pre-ordering is available.
