Romance Rumors Swirl on "New Moon" Set

Despite their repeated attempts to convince tabloids that they are just friends and costars, New Moon leads Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart continue to be romantically linked, MSN Wonderwall reported.

E!'s Ted Casablanca insists that there is "something smoldering" between the leading man and leading lady.

Life & Style also published reports that claim Pattinson, 22, is linked to fellow Twilight actress Nikki Reed, 21. A source told the magazine, "Rob . . . leads her on," and that he's been "causing tension" on set by flirting with other girls "in front of Nikki." According to L&S, however, Reed has her eye on fellow New Moon hottie, Jackson Rathbone, whose band, 100 Monkeys, recently performed at a club in Vancouver.

Star is also feeding the rumor mill by speculating that Stewart and Reed are fighting for "Rob's attention."

Finally, Taylor Lautner, who plays Jacob Black, and Ashley Greene, who plays Alice Cullen, have also been the subjects of romance rumors. He has been linked to a "tall brunette" he supposedly danced with at the 100 Monkeys performance, while she has been linked to Ian Somerhalder, who will do some bloodsucking himself in the forthcoming CW series, The Vampire Diaries.
