Blagojevich Booted from Taping Reality Show
Former Illinois Governor Rod Blagojevich won't be making his reality show debut any time soon. E! is reporting that a federal judge refused to let Blagojevich travel outside of the state. The disgraced governor was heading to a Costa Rican jungle to star in NBC's summer series, I'm a Celebrity . . . Get Me Out of Here.
Blagojevich is charged with allegedly attempting to sell political favors. If convicted, he could face up to 30 years in prison.
Since he needed a judge's permission, Blagojevich was the only confirmed cast member for the celebrity reality show. The rest of the cast will be announced on Friday. Rumored contestants include Geraldo Rivera, former Top Model judge Janice Dickinson, Duane Dog the Bounty Hunter Chapman, The Hills' Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt, and former American Idol contestant Sanjaya Malakar.
I'm a Celebrity . . . Get Me Out of Here is set to debut on June 1.
