Idol Has Disco Fever

The seven remaining "American Idol" contestants belted it out for Disco Night.

Last week, Simon warned contestants and viewers alike about Disco Week, but the top seven weren't scared off the stage.

Kris Allen changed it up a bit with his very different rendition of Donna Summer's "She Works Hard for the Money" in which he added an acoustic guitar and bongos. Allen has definitely become a contender over the last few weeks, constantly impressing the judges and putting his own twist on classic songs. Once again, the judges were very happy with his performance. Judge Simon Cowell even used the words "original" and "fantastic."

As always, Adam Lambert was a favorite of the night. He turned "If I Can't Have You" from Saturday Night Fever into a slow ballad. The rest of the Idol contestants had some problems here and there. It seems like the bottom three may look eerily familiar this week, as People reported that both Lil Rounds and Matt Giraud weren't met with positive feedback from the judges. Rounds, who sang "I'm Every Woman," by Chaka Khan, was told it was her last shot by Cowell, while Giraud's performance of "Stayin' Alive" didn't seem to impress the judges.Rounds and Giraud were in the bottom three last week. Giraud was the contestant with the least amount of votes; however, the judges finally used the Judges' Save and kept Giraud in the competition. But will he be safe again this week? Two contestants will be voted off tonight because of last week's save.
