Johnston Talks with Larry King About Bristol Palin

According to People, Levi Johnston, 18, talked about his life with Bristol Palin on Thursday's episode of the CNN show, Larry King Live.

King asked Johnston, when he was living in the house he shared with Alaska Governor Sarah Palin, where he and Palin's daughter Bristol had sex. Johnston responded, "You know, Larry, that I'm a gentleman, you know. And I don't, you know, kiss and tell. So, you know, I don't think that really – that really matters."

King also asked, "First you said you practiced safe sex most of the time, right?" To which Johnston replied, "Right."

Due to the fact that Johnston and Palin have a child together, King said, "We know that one time that didn't happen. . . . Were you surprised at the pregnancy?"

Johnston answered, "A little bit, yes. It came as a bit of a shock."

Johnston talked to Tyra Banks earlier this month, saying that he was almost certain that the governor knew that he and Palin were having sex whilst they lived together. Johnston said, "I'm pretty sure she probably knew. Moms are pretty smart," he told Banks; however, to King, Johnston stated, "You know, I'm not sure. That's – that's a question I can't really answer."

Due to his openness with Banks, Johnston received a severe rebuke from the Palin team. He later said on CBS's The Early Show that his relationship with Bristol Palin is permanently damaged.
