“Ugly Betty” Coming Back to ABC
24-Apr-2009
Written by: Andrew Randall

The ABC sitcom is making its season premiere on April 30.

According to People, the ABC sitcom, Ugly Betty, is making its season premiere on Thursday nights beginning April 30.

The show will pick up where last season ended. Betty, played by America Ferrera, was cozying up to Matt, a wealthy journalist with a rising star. However, it’s rumored that Henry Grubstack, Betty's accountant friend, will return to the show for the season finale.

The show’s creator, Silvio Horta, said of the return, “As Henry and Betty reconnect, it could potentially threaten her relationship with Matt.”

Horta said of Christopher Gorham, who plays the role of Henry, “Chris has always been and always will be part of the ‘Ugly Betty’ family.”

A source also told People that the show has been renewed for a fourth season.
