So what's the skinny on Lindsay Lohan and Samantha Ronson?

All signs point to gray area, if you believe what you read.

In recent news, Ronson was photographed as being near Lohan around the time of her stint on Ellen DeGeneres's daytime talk show.

This, after recent speculation on the Facebook relationship status change-a-roo by Ronson, who is suspected of ending the relationship. While talking with Ellen, Lohan made it clear that she was blindsided by the end of their love affair, but is keeping the door (and her heart) open for a possible reconciliation down the road.

Photographers alleged this week that Ronson's car was parked at Lohan's home overnight.

So, are they complicated, not together, or back together? Only time will tell. . . .
